did you plate the butt welds that were ground down because once you grind a weld it loses its integrity.. just making sure its safe looks good!

Nice man, who is that doing the welding? My 83 has been bagged for over 10 years with smoothed out notches and was never plated and has never cracked or anything. Not to say it couldn't happen just that I haven't had any problems with mine. I smoothed out the notches on the F1 FIDY but then again I also welded as much as I could on the inside of the notch as well. hehehehe, messed up a few tips along the way. haha

makes absolutely no sense to me but if it works.... A track bar is like a panhard bar only it doesn't mount to the frame, it goes from 1 link bar to the other on a 2 link and makes a u shape. It still helps stiffen up the 2 link to help with the side to side but the side to side will still be there. I believe the only way you can really get rid of the side to side on a 2 link or parrallel 4 link is with a watts link. I forgot to mention how I don't know how it works either because the axle is pretty much doing the same thing, but this seems to work. I've seen it done on several vehicles.
