[glow=red,2,300][/glow]For those who want to know what sunset is all about. Founded by the one and only Bob Hase in December of 1976 we are the oldest and most respected clubs in the scene. We are worldwide with chapters in California Las Vegas Michigan Louisiana Washington Idaho Oregon Boston Texas Australia Canada Japan and soon to be in New Zealand. We have thrown 2 of the greatest shows in the scene west coast nationals and the famous resolutions. We are almost 35yrs old and we are still going strong!!!
Now for the Texas chapter. We have been a chapter goin on 5yrs. We currently have four chapters, Houston, Central, Fort Hood and South Texas. We are all about the scene and respect it. Were not gonna trash hotels or show grounds just for fun and just cause everyone else is doing it. Most of us are older and are mature enough to enjoy the scene. We are a close group of people one big family. I know a lot of clubs say that but here in =SunSet= we are truly a family. There is not one person better than the other, everyone is equal. We are the people who you'll invite to your kids birthday party. For people who are interested in rolling =SunSet= we base it on a 100 point scale. 70 is you and 30 is your ride. We are all about the person. You can have a cover truck on every mag but if you're a douche then we don't want you. The people are what makes the club. As for requirements on your ride you must have 3 major body mods. Bags/juice, lowered, lifted, shaved, wheels (18s or bigger), and paint. Being bagged or juiced is a big bonus. We work with rides that are bagged or juiced but don't have enough body mods. As for rides lowered and not bagged and no intensions of being bagged we are lil more stricter on those. They MUST have all requirements listed. Wheels must be 22s or bigger and must have an extreme low stance. A level kit is not considered a drop. Prospects must attend three meetings and or functions and must show with us at one show before getting voted in. A function is anything we do as a club, bbqs birthdays concerts etc. Our meetings are the first Saturday of every month and held at hempstead sea food and sreak in hempstead off US 290 & FM 1488 at 6pm. We are always looking to meet new people who share the same interests as us. As I always say the only way to really get to know us is you have to hang out with us and see what were all about.
