Get with camel and see what he can get you as in all your air ride kit. suicidedoors.com has different types of air ride kits you can purchase. You can also hit up ekstensive for all that shit. Personally i go with gc 450 psi valves viair 480s comps. I like slam bags but Ive been hearing bad shit about the new ones.

You can also buy kits with everything you need. Thumb through a minitruckin mag and you'll see a couple different ones. I think its 2 valves per bag. I have Azco on my truck. The size of line just depends on how fast you want your truck to move.the bigger line the faster the truck lifts and drops. Some people have smaller line on the dumps so the truck drops slower than it lifts. I have 1/2 in on mine. I also have two batteries on my truck. One strictly for the air ride. I was told once it was probably because whoever initially built the truck, couldn't figure out how to put a bigger altenator on. But I'm not sure. I enjoy it though cause if need be I can always give myself a jumpstart. Hahahahaha

MeMe, I been working like crazy, the production company has really taken off, every Friday and saturday, now we are moving into bigger venues so it's becoming a weekday event as well, SA I was on KP components and ekstensive and I think I know wat I want it's jus a kit that gets welded on and a set for the fro I jus need know I guess the lil critical parts and I think I want mine to b a slower style lift and drop. So I need 8 valves correct? I'm so lost when y'all talk bout bag parts.lol

Personally I would never buy a kit, most places will not let you change things up and sale you what makes them money in the kit. I buy my stuff seperate and get exactly what I want. I always suggest running 8 valves, some people will tell you that 6 is fine and 4 is ok...4 is never ok if you drive your truck, you will get body roll. Here is a list of parts I would go with
Valves - Asco or GC valves Bags - I always use Slam Specialties but they do have some defects, whenever a bag starts to seperate from the base just send it in and they will replace it. Slams have a better ride quality than all other bags. 4 link - if you don't mind relocating the gas tank go with a triangulated 4 link, if you want a comfortable ride and lots of lift in the rear use a bag over bar setup. A bag over axle setup still rides fine but a bag over bar setup rides smoother and gets more lift. Compressors - I only use VIAIR Air Tank - Get a 8 gal tank or bigger If you want slow lift and drop go with 1/4" valves and lines, also hardline everything, do not buy the dot airline, it works but it sucks! I install a yellow top optima (personal preference) on all my custom rides. You can keep a stock battery if you are not running the compressors with the truck off. While the truck is running it is not the battery that everything is running off of, it is the alternator, so make sure your alternator is capable of running everything. You can get a GM 105 amp 1 wire alternator for around 100 bucks and they are very easy to upgrade to. Switches just depends on what you want to do but make sure you get rocker switches and a minimum of 4, 1 for each corner. You will want to run 4 gauge power wire from the battery to a splitter for the compressors do not buy the avs compressor kit it sucks. Also but the AZ 80 amp relays. I am at work and break is over so I will get with you later on everything else haha.

You had body roll, but you have only ever had 4 valves so you never noticed it because you were used to it. Get Bradon to give you a ride in the F150 and take a hard corner and then go take the same hard corner in your Silverado, you will notice the difference big time.
And yes David, I believe I am more Mexican than you sir! hahaha

Alright, kool so I found most of the parts on ekstensive's website, now I totally understand about buying the kits and building ur own stuff, only problem is...is that I'm working w my pops on the build and we don't have the knowledge nor materials to build cut our own stuff, so w a kit it's easy cuz we can jus line up and weld on.so I guess my question is, is the kit worthless or will it serve the same purpose? I drive a 93 chevy step side, prime red black, I was at TexMex and drag for diabetes...kinda the same as alf except single cab

Personally I don't like 2 links. I would do a 4 link on anything and everything. And I know the kit they sale is a 2 link setup with a panhard bar. I don't know what all they sale in their kit, I just know it is a 2 link setup. I can give you a price on everything you need with the top notch parts if you want me to. I have a couple accounts, one with lowriderdepot.com and the other with qualityairride.com. Basically, I would build a badass kit for you.
