Hey yall just want to throw this out there and see what yall think. I was asked by an events coordinator for the Jr. high if we could bring out the trucks to their spring festival. I don't have any information on it yet but I'm calling him this afternoon when he gets out of work. He's gunna give me the date of the planning committee meeting so I can go and get the details. He said he's seen us around and the kids are always talking about the trucks. It would be a fun thing to give back somehow. I'll let yall know the details when I get them. Would yall be interested in participating?

That would be great Rick. We're not asking anyone that's gunna have a hefty drive to come out unless they want too. It would be great though.

I think their looking to do something in may but I may be wrong. I think it'll be good to show a positive side of the minitruckin scene.

I'm thinkin they wanna do something for cinco de mayo. Possibly on the 7th. But he hasn't called us back yet so no date yet.

Alright guys finally got the details. The festival will be on Saturday may 14th. They plan on giving us the front parking lot of the school. They are having a free breakfast for us at 8:00 and the festival starts at 9:00. There are activities inside the school for the kids. He's asking that if we want or need any accommodations that we let him know ASAP. So....I was thinking we need a way to get the kids and families involved somehow. Maybe set up a kids choice award where the kids vote on their favorite truck or sumthin like that. Let me know what you guys think. And if you can think of anything that we may need let me know. Thanks guys.
